The Bottom Line

The Verona V2 is one of the first chairs of the company that we got our hands on. It is available in seven different colour combinations and comes with standard ergonomic features, with a typical sporty tub-seat design, at an affordable price.

Arozzi Verona

The Verona V2 has a metal frame to ensure that it is robust enough to support large users and has a soft PU upholstery. The backrest of the seat can drop down to 160 degrees and the metal frame can support a body weight of up to 140 kg. Its compact dimensions also make this chair a great choice for tight play areas.

Main features

Seat width: 54 cm
Total height (incl. underframe): 124 – 132 cm
Backrest width (shoulder height): 55 cm
Adjustability of the armrests: 2D
Gas spring: class 4
Maximum weight (user): 140 kg
Dimensions of package: 86 x 69 x 35 cm
Net weight (chair): 22 kg
Swing mechanism: Yes

Just like the other game seats we received, the packaging was covered with scratches and parts were even missing. This is of course due to the way the packaging is transported. The dimensions of the package are 86 x 69 x 35 cm and weighs 25 kg. This is one of the lightest packages we have ever received. The package is completely black and on top is twice the slogan: “Keep yourself in the game”.

First impression of the Arozzi Verona V2
Once you’ve put the chair together, it looks nice and comfortable. The black/orange color combination of our test model looks fresh and fits in almost any gaming environment. The Verona V2 has a supple PU upholstery and comes with two cushions. One is for the neck and the other is for the lower back.

The plastic parts on this chair seem to be well made. The first thing we noticed during this Arozzi Verona V2 review was the design of the armrests, where there is a hole in the middle. The edges of the seat are raised quite a bit and we are not sure if a seated user will feel comfortable or not.

In contrast to the seat, the backrest seems to offer enough space for every body type. This chair is not as heavy as most other chairs, but this does not necessarily mean that the quality is less. The only way to find out is to test the chair.

Conclusion of the Arozzi Verona V2

Arozzi has set itself high goals since its foundation. Comfort and ergonomics are the motives of the designers to create new chairs. An abundance of chair models in different colour combinations can now be found on the Arozzi website. In the special edition, you can even find chair models for specific games.

This is the second chair we have reviewed from the Swedish company. The aesthetics of the chair are inspired by the sporty bucket seats in sports cars. The chair has a basic ergonomics and is affordably priced. It is clearly a basic model for standard users and the use of soft artificial leather and 2D armrests is therefore completely logical. Nevertheless, both the PU and plastic parts used are of excellent quality.

Of course, it remains to be seen how the upholstery will hold up over the years. The dimensions of this chair, the lightweight metal frame, and the three elastic straps under the seat ensure that the user sits well and that the chair can carry a bodyweight of up to 140 kg.

In terms of ergonomics, the angle of the backrest can vary from 90-160 degrees. It can also be rotated 360 degrees, the height can be adjusted, a rocking function is included and the armrests are 2D. The armrests have left a positive impression on us because both have notches for a better grip of the forearm. The size of this chair makes it an ideal choice for small gaming spaces, while the colour combination of black and orange and the geometric motif certainly places it in the category of gaming chairs.

However, there are also a number of drawbacks. Our prototype had a stitching error on the back, which most likely occurred while stitching. Another drawback is that the left seat attachment cover just wouldn’t fit and kept shooting loose. The lubrication of the swivel wheels and the design of the bucket seat could make this seat suitable for Formula 1 races (with seats, not with cars). These caster wheels can easily be rolled, especially on slippery surfaces. Nevertheless, this chair is an excellent choice once used on a carpet or floor mat, because it can easily, but not too easily, roll over such surfaces. We found the rocking mechanism slightly stiffer than the other chairs we have used so far. Finally, the padding feels good, but at least the headrest can use a little extra.

Arozzi Verona

The Verona V2 gaming chair is available in seven different colour combinations: black, blue, green, grey, orange, red and white. This is one of the first game seats with such an affordable price and ergonomic features that we have tried out. That's why we can definitely recommend it during this Arozzi Verona V2 review for people who have a limited budget and are looking for an entry-level chair.
